Times have changed and so have the gender roles. I would like to take this time to call it what it is and that is weakness in todays men. For ages now women have fought for equality in every avenue of life, but when and why did it cross over to the relationship. Women have become so "independent" so "strong" that men live in fear of the "Bitches" we have become. Men have become so afraid of rejection from women that they have stopped trying. Or could it be that women have become so easy and forward that they have no need to try. Either way, what does that do for the single women who wants to be approached by a man, a women who wants the traditional chivalry. I would like to know that the gesture is still true, a man will ask me out if he is interested. However this so called "rule" is not true. I believe that the more interested a guy is the weaker he becomes. Unless a girl is throwing the most obvious signs guys no longer take chances with girls. Their insecurities have gotten the best of them. Now I am not saying this is true for every guy and every situation but I will say that it is the case for most situations. The girl in some way, fashion, or form has had to make some sort of obvious action to let a man know that if he were to ask her out, he would not receive rejection. Some of you females are thinking "nope, not me, my man made the first move" but be honest with your self and think back, did you text him the first message, did you show up to meet him, did you compliment him in a flirtatious way? Well, did you, did you make it obvious to him that you were interested in him a little?
Social Network has also become a way for the weak man to hide his insecurities. Lets say a man meets a women out with a group of friends, does he ask her out, ask for her number? No, he goes home searches for her and then sends her a message asking if she wants coffee. Wimp.
If only there was a way to remind Men to be the Men that they are take a chance and just ask that girl at the coffee shop out. Don't wait for her to give you the eyes or ask you to a wedding, Just grow your balls and ask. So what if she says no, then you can move on and shoot for the next girl, what if this girl has been waiting for you, for a guy like you to ask her out. What if she decided to give every guy who ask a chance. Just don't say no for her, please for your sake andfor her sake.
On the other hand ladies, we have become so twisted , so messed up that we no longer know how to be a lady. I, if anyone have become guilty of this. We are so lost and don't know what to do. Do we approach him first, NO. Do we ask him out, NO. Do we give him googoo eyes and hope he notices, umm, NO. So what do we do when we are interested in a cute guy? Wait and wait and wait for him to grow some courage. Then we would be single forever and frankly some of us, not all, would prefer death. So again the conquest for love has left us feeling more confused than ever. I think Men be men and women be women . Women treat men like men, and men treat women like women.
